The year of Jubilee and the Trump of Go

Let us go back to a time in Israel in the days of old and imagine a scenario that was ordained of God that never happened.

Trumpets were blowing, great commotion was going on, great amount of joy was being felt by all, but young Jehu was confused about it all because he had never heard about the cause of all the jubilation.

“Why all the excitement,” young Jehu asked of an older man that came running by him, as he labored in the field of his master?

“Haven’t you heard the trumpets blowing, young fellow? It is the Day of Atonement in the Year of Jubilee. You are now free to go back home, your debt has been paid, you are no longer a slave all things are now restored back to you and everyone whose property had been lost for what ever reason.”

Jehu remembered back when he was only ten years old that he was sold as a slave to pay the debts that his family had incurred. They lost their home, their land, their cattle, their wells and yes, even their liberties.

Now that Jehu is twenty-five years old he still remembers the joys of his youth as he played without a care with friends. He still remembers the joys of sitting at his father’s table and eating good things prepared by his adorable mother.

As only a ten year old he remembers being told by his father that one day all of his possessions would be his own which was also to be passed on down to his sons. Houses, land, farm equipment, cattle, springs of water, barns and all were to be his. But, alas, alas, he became a slave after having lost all hope of inheritance. For the past fifteen years he had no hope or prospect of anything more than to be a slave to the wishes of a heavy taskmaster.

But now, young Jehu was hearing a sound that he had never heard before. He looked upon fellow slaves as they reacted to the sound. He sensed that it was a joyful sound. Did I say a joyful sound?

Psa 89:15, “Blessed is the people that know the JOYFUL SOUND: they shall walk, O Lord, in the light of thy countenance.”

We find the law concerning Jubilee in Lev. 25. Notice verses 8-10. It is the remaining portion of this chapter that speak of absolution, forgiveness of debts, restoration, leaving the land fallow for that year, of celebrations and even more.

It was a law that every fifty years a drastic change were to take place in Israel. Everything was to be restored just as it was when the tribes originally inherited the land. If a man lost his property due to foreclosure, it had to be restored. If he became a slave to pay off a debt, he had to be set free. After every fifty years, every man regained his original inheritance.

It is my purpose here to illustrate what this means to you and I, as well as all of creation. Without the Jubilee law it would have been entirely possible that one tribe would have ended up owning everything of all the other tribes while the losing tribes would have lost their identity along with their possessions. The other tribes would have deteriorated and would have disappeared altogether. This was opposed to the natural plan and purpose of God for that time. Therefore the law of Jubilee was instituted.

These laws were never actualized as far as we know and it came to pass that Judah and Israel divided and in the course of time became wicked which brought about their captivity and demise. But the principle drawn from these natural laws are understood as they relate to spiritual matters involving the people of God.

First, I will give you an example of what the law meant to them in days of old. See II Kings, fourth chapter. Here is a widow woman about to loose her sons to slavery to pay her creditors. A man of God came by and provided a miracle in the vessels gathered not a few to pay off that debt. But in many such cases as this, there was no Elisha around to provide such a miracle and the debtors was faced with loosing their possessions, including their children to pay the debt.

Back to our hypothetical scenario of young Jehu. You can only dream of his elation as he realized the import of the sound of that trumpet in his ears. He waved goodbye to his taskmaster, and headed for his home and his family. O, what great joy yet awaited him as he anticipated being reunited with his brothers, sisters, father and mother back on his own place in his own home again.

I can imagine that young Jehu was quite anxious to tell those that occupied his house to get out immediately. There he could start living in his own house again, pick his own figs, gather his own grapes and drink the fruit of his own vines. No more would Jehu work for a hireling again, he would work for himself from now on, on his own inheritance.

Listen carefully. In the beginning, God set man over all the works of His hands. He made man the supreme ruler of the earth, the owner of the whole world.

I like the way John Lake put it. When Adam needed a cow, he did no call for Rover to come to help him search for a cow. He just commanded the cow to come. When he got ready to name all of the beast of the field, he simply commanded them to line up, one behind the other to be named as they passed in review. When he got ready to name the fowl of the air, he commanded them to line up in a row and fly over and pass in review as he named them all one by one. Furthermore, the earth brought forth without toil in great abundance. You get the picture. It is a picture of great and sovereign dominion by mankind over all. Praise God!

Man had dominion over all creation. This absolute dominion was given to him by the Creator, the God with whom he walked with in daily fellowship, in the cool of the evening.

But, with disobedience to the command of God, sin came and everything changed. Man lost all and became a slave to sin and Satan. It was now given to man to earn his living by the sweat of his brow. Pain and suffering entered into the world as did all diseases and curse. Things became very different in a world where thorns and thistles proliferated. Now violence is seen in both animal and human kingdoms. Great woe has fallen upon the earth as a dark pall to hold man in darkness and blindness of the celestial realm. Many men have cursed the day that they were born. All of creation went into captivity to Satan. Believe me, Satan is a cruel taskmaster.

God gave a promise of restitution of all things in Gen. 3:15. He also gave a promise of victory over Satan. God told the serpent that her seed shall bruise thy head.” In Romans 16:20, Paul repeats the promise, “And the God of peace shall bruise Satan under your feet shortly.” Mankind will indeed return to his possessions. All that was lost in the fall shall be restored. Acts 3:21 says that Jesus shall remain in heaven UNTIL the times of this restoration of all things. There is no promise of the return of Christ UNTIL the times of restoration of all that was lost in the fall.

Jesus referred back to Isa 61:1 in his remarks found in :

Luk 4:18 The Spirit of the Lord [is] upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,

Luke 4:19 To preach the acceptable year of the Lord

Here Jesus referred to the year of Jubilee. Hence, JESUS CHRIST IS OUR JUBILEE. It is in Him that we find freedom, lifeand restoration.

Psa. 102:19 & 20, Psa 102:19 For he hath looked down from the height of his sanctuary; from heaven did the LORD behold the earth; To hear the groaning of the prisoner; to loose those that are appointed to death;

He took pity upon us in our slavery. He had compassion on us in our poverty. He felt and bore our pain. He heard our lamentations. He took pity seeing our terrible condition. He determined to come and set us free and pay our debts. This was the purpose of his coming, and this is the power of his resurrection.

In the 19th verse of Luke, Jesus stopped right smack dab in the middle of reading verse 2 of Isa. 61. The time of the fulfillment of the latter portion concerning vengeance was not yet come. It was not yet when he was here, neither is it time now. But there is a day appointed. The time of judgement and vengeance is still ahead for the world.

Acts 17:31, “Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by [that] man whom he hath ordained; [whereof] he hath given assurance unto all [men], in that he hath raised him from the dead.”

In reading from Isa. 61:1, Jesus referred to the ministry of reconciliation that he has given to his body. Look what Jesus did. Right in the middle of reading the 2nd verse he stopped and said, “This day, this scripture is fulfilled in your ears.” He then closed the book, gave it to the MINISTER AND SAT DOWN.

Jesus came into the world, bringing the ministry of reconciliation. The book of his life among us is closed. He is no longer here in the flesh, neither do we know him any longer after the flesh. After the book of his life here was closed, he gave his ministry, the ministry of reconciliation to his disciples, his ministers, after having demonstrated to them the life and ministry of reconciliation.

We find in Isa. 58:6, “[Is] not this the fast that I have chosen? to loose the bands of wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, and to let the oppressed go free, and that ye break every yoke?”

Notice verse 12, “And [they that shall be] of thee shall build the old waste places: thou shalt raise up the foundations of many generations; and thou shalt be called, The repairer of the breach, The restorer of paths to dwell in”

We’ve got a mighty big job to do, but it will be Christ in us that doeth the works. The work of this ministry is not just to build a larger Sunday School, start a new denomination or make an old one bigger and richer. Rather it is to bring all of creation back into right relationship with God their creator, and to restore man back to his former glory and power.

It is given to us to blow the trumpet of Jubilee, and to set all free. For this trumpet of Jubilee is to be blown by the redeemed Body of Christ. This is the work of the ministry for the saints of God and the reason for their perfection now. See Eph 4:11-13.

It is not given to angels of heaven to blow the Jubilee trumpet or sound the release of human bondage of corruption. This honor has been given to the saints.

Psa 149:6 [Let] the high [praises] of God [be] in their mouth, and a twoedged sword in their hand;

Psa 149:7 To execute vengeance upon the heathen, [and] punishments upon the people;

Psa 149:8 To bind their kings with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron;

Psa 149:9 To execute upon them the judgment written: this honour have all his saints. Praise ye the LORD.

According to Paul in Rom. Eighth chapter, ALL OF CREATION is waiting and groaning for the MANIFESTATION of the deliverers that God is now preparing. It is they who shall sound the trumpet and give all of creation the REST that yet awaitfor not only the people of God but also for all of creation.

If you will notice the Trumpet of Jubilee first sounds on the Day of Atonement, the tenth day of the seventh month. This is the day when the High Priest goes beyond the veil into the holiest of all. It is important to realize that there shall be no release from corruption and death for humanity and creation UNITL a body of saints follows Jesus into the Holy of Holies in the very presence of God.

We have eaten of the Passover Lamb, our sins have been washed away, the blood is on the doorpost of our heart. That is very important. We have also partaken of the Feast of Pentecost, having been filled with the Holy Ghost and been buried in water in His name. However, even Holy Ghost filled Apostolic saints compete for beds with the Methodist and the Baptist in their own hospitals. Holy Ghost filled saints still fill up offices and clinics run by unbelieving doctors. Holy Ghost filled saints still run to their local Pharmacies to have their prescriptions filled by unbelieving Pharmacists for their pain, sickness and multitudes of diseases. Diseases, sickness, death and corruption still hold all of creation in bondage which still yet remains in the wicked one.

The message of Tabernacles is now being sounded. First it started on the first day of the seventh month. But it is on the tenth day that the Day of Atonement comes. That is significant because it is then that we go beyond the veil into the fullness of God, and we start sounding the Trumpet of Jubilee for the liberation of all mankind. Even though the trumpet must be sounded throughout all the land, only a few will blow it. This chosen few will be given a message with such divine authority, that where ever it is heard, devils will flee and life will spring up from the barren places.

You must understand that I am not speaking about a revival. Revival speaks of reviving something that that is perishing or languishing. No, I am speaking of a New Thing. Isa. Prophesied of God doing a new thing. Jesus said in Rev. that he would make all things new.

You may doubt if you wish, but you will end up like the old doubter at the gates of Samaria during the time of great famine. He doubted the Prophet of the Lord that said, “By this time tomorrow there will be plenty to eat.” The old doubter at the gate said, “If God opens up the windows of heaven, then maybe.” There are many right now in religious circles that are at the very gate of plenty to come, but because of their doubt, their unbelief and skepticism, they will perish in the stampede.

John had not yet seen his vision on Patmos when Paul wrote in I Cor. 15:52 concerning the “last trump.” It is worthy to note that nothing had yet been written about the seven trumps of Revelation. So, Paul was not speaking of the last of these seven trumpets, as many wish to believe. Rather, Paul was speaking of a change coming to humanity, of mortality putting on immortality, of corruption putting on incorruption, of death losing its sting and the grave losing its victory. And he was speaking of it from the promise given in the law concerning the blowing of the trumpet of Jubilee. But what did he mean by the LAST trump? Here I will give you three witness from the Word.

In the dedication of the first temple in II Chron 5:12, there were 120 priests blowing trumpets. The entire temple was finished, all the holy things put in their place. As the 120 trumpets were blown, the glory and presence of God entered and filled the Temple.

Now see in Acts 1:15 that at the time of the dedication of the early Church, God’s living Temple, there were 120 priests of a new order, sounding their trumpets in 14 languages. See verse eight. God’s glory so much filled this “Temple” that 3,000 souls were filled with the Holy Ghost and spoke in the heavenly language which was understood by all. All of this happened on ONE day. This was the second witness of the 120 trumpets. But, two is not the number of completion; let us look for the third witness to this.

I could give several more witnesses from the Word, but let me give you one more. From the fall to Abraham was 2000 years or 40 times 50 years. Forty jubilee periods passed over humanity, time for 40 trumpets to have been blown in the heavens by way of promise. But forty was not the end. With Abraham, God reestablished His promise. He said, “In thy seed shall all the nations be blessed.” Another 40 jubilees passed and in 2,000 more years, Jesus came. But wait, 80 is not the finish. With the coming of Jesus, God paid the debt for all humanity, and purchased their redemption. But, in Ephesians 1:14, Paul said:

Eph 1:13, “ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,

Eph 1:14 Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.”

You see from this scripture that we have only been given a taste, an earnestness of our expectation by having been filled with the Holy Ghost. The promise that God gave the woman in the garden is still ahead. Peter said in I Peter 1:4-5, that it will be revealed in the last time. Paul said his (Satan’s) head would be bruised beneath your foot shortly. We are the foot generation in the body of Christ.

We are right now here in the year 2003. There have been 39 Jubilee periods since Christ. We are on the BRINK of the Jubilee. There have been 119 Jubilee trumpets that have sounded since the fall of Adam. It could be this year or the next that we shall enter into the 14th day of the seventh month (by type) and experience the sounding of the 120th trumpet, the last trump that will effect a change, into a new reality. We must not assume the marking of natural years or generations but these things must be perceived spiritually…i.e., spiritual generations.

We are now about to enter into that 10th day of the seventh month, the day of the last Jubilee period, the sounding of the last trump. The last and permanent “Temple” of God will be dedicated, and out of that Holy of Holies shall come a ministry of life and restoration that the world has never seen. PRAISE GOD!

When it comes, it will come suddenly. God does things suddenly. He is a sudden God. ‘The Lord whom ye seek shall suddenly come to his temple.” ”And when the day of Pentecost was fully come and suddenly there came a sound from heaven.” The sounding of the last trump will come without warning and SUDDENLY. Suddenly, it will break upon us.

God is not marshaling his great army together for an escape out the back door while the antichrist (so called) and the devil comes crashing in through the front door. God is collecting his mighty sons together and preparing them in their secret prayer chambers for the task ahead. You can have no idea what God is now doing in secret, waiting to be revealed in his mighty warrior people who have not worshiped at the altars of Baal now set up in many churches, including the Apostolic churches. Maybe I should write an article entitled, “The Altars of Baal in the Holy Place.”

You go to Campmeetings and Conferences nowadays and all you hear so much spit and bluster. Peacocks parade and make a mighty fine show in the flesh. Promotions, honor and accolades are given among themselves who keep themselves deluded with a fatuous, illusionary glory that will soon fade away.

The work that God has planned for us, is not beyond the starry sky, but it is right here, confronting the great usurper, the god of this world. This work will not be done in a corner or in secret. The ends of the earth and the isles of the sea shall come to the brightness of His rising and of what God has planned to do with those of us who have seen and prepared for what is ahead.

Ecclesiastical charlatans can produce crowds of thousands and even get front page recognition in the newspapers. But, God has got some warrior people hid away somewhere of which the religious world know nothing. The Apostolic ecclesiastical world knows little about it. These men of whom I speak are largely unknown of themselves owing to their state of humility and are mostly unrecognized. These men walk with God and then walk like God and they talk to God and talk like God.

I once saw in a vision these men. They each appeared to be God. They had such power and glory upon them that nothing could touch them or come near them to do harm. The only thing that I could figure is that they already had their glorified bodies having overcome death. Their words sounded like God talking. As I watched their exploits in the vision, I asked God, “Who are these men?” I was astonished beyond measure at their exploits. The Spirit spoke and said, “These are they that have prepared themselves.”

Please be warned concerning theology that would fail you and cause you to fail in the great and notable Day of the Lord. There shall come a “new thing.” And it shall come with a great sound of a Trumpet. The trumpet of Jubilee is the final rest for the people of God. Now is the time to get your theology straightened out. There will come a day that it will be too late. You will have no oil in your lamp, though virgins waiting for their heavenly bridegroom, but it will be too late. Be warned. Be aware and watchful.

There will be no jubilee until the passing through the veil is accomplished, by the great body of the Son, the High Priest. And then, glory to God, out of that realm of Life and Glory shall come forth a ministry, a creative, dead raising ministry that shall make all other forms of religion obsolete. A people shall walk upon this earth, tho dwelling in the heavens and sittingwith God on his very throne. They shall meet every human need and cast down every satanic stronghold. The work of recreation will begin in the times of restitution of all things. There will be no failures with this overcoming army of true body of Christ. There shall be no mistakes, for they have the mind of Christ, and they speak with His authority.

Back in the 1950s during the latter rain movement, there were a few that got a glimpse of this glory to come, but perverted it. There was a man that I remember quite well from Los Angeles Calif. He pastored a very large church there of many thousands. He was also in demand across the nation as an Evangelist. He was unlike any other that I had ever heard. He was an orator extraordinaire. He would move an audience with the greatest of ease as they sat spell bound at his preaching.

He started preaching a message, if I rightly recall, “The Life Message.” Others called it the “Never Die” doctrine. He preached that one could come into life even unto the body and never die, by faith. Many began believing that message and started claiming “never die” for themselves. He led people to believe that through the exercise of their faith, they could enter into life even to the body. The problem with that message is, most of them that claimed such are now dead, including the proponent himself. It brought great failure, disappointment and shipwreck of the faith of many since the true doctrine of Never Die and Everlasting life was so greatly misunderstood by them.

The true manifested Sons of God do not have to make such claims or even take it by faith. They receive Life as an inheritance, and when they manifest it and minister it to others in reality, they will not have to wear a badge of a sign around their neck proclaiming themselves to be something. Those who minister out of the realm of the Holy of Holies will meet the needs of a sick world and they will know that they have come in contact with the Son of God.

We have indeed born the image of the first Adam, but will also bear the image of the last Adam. We have born the image of the earthly, but we shall put on the image of the heavenly. Earth’s language and human illustrations are far too frail to speak of the glory that is soon to be revealed in the Sons of God that are now prepared for the Jubilee year, the day of the Lord.

The task of delivering all humanity is far too great for anyone. In fact, it is impossible for man to do. However, a sovereign God can do it through a people that He has chosen. Praise God, he will do it!

Lev. 25:10 says, “Let every man return to his family” in the year of Jubilee. There is a habitation prepared for each one.

Jesus said, “In my father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.” Now let me show you a glorious mystery: In my Father’s house The Word teaches us in many places that the church, God”s people, is the House of God. You are His house, in which He lives. “Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them.” (Rev. 21:3) “In my father’s house are MANY mansions.

This is the only place in the whole Bible that the word “mansion” is used. It is translated from the Greek word “œmone,” which is used twice in the Bible. The other place is in John 14:23, where it is translated “abode.” Jesus said: “If a man loveme, he will keep my words: and my father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our ABODE with him.” In other words, that man will becomes the mansion, or dwelling place of God. In the Father’s House (the church) there are many dwelling places, or abodes for the Father to dwell in.

There are different realms of state of life for His people. Jesus said, I go to prepare a place for you.” He said He would come to receive us to Himself, that where he is, we might be also. One might ask, “Well, where is he?” He is dwelling in the highest realm of life in the most brilliance and splendor of glory.

Philip. 2:9 says that God hath highly exalted Him, giving him a name above every name. Do you know that you, as an overcomer, will have that name written upon you? See Rev. 3:12. Paul saw that the highest, most glorious place prepared for us in eternity was in Christ, the place prepared for the overcomer. He desired this place, and said that he “pressed toward the mark for the prize of the High Calling of God in Christ Jesus.”

When the Jubilee Trumpet begins to blow, mankind will start returning from its fallen state of sin, back to that perfect state of fellowship with God. But each one will “return to the family.” Each has his own mansion, house, dwelling place in God. Will yours be on a lower plane of the Spirit, or will you press into that High Calling? Will you settle for no less than God’s best?

Praise God, Praise God…! He has prepared for us a place. It is time to move in! The year of Jubilee is soon to be upon
